Magna's pioneering technology and creativity allows our customers to askfor solutions that lie beyond what they previously thought was possible.Cosma Casting UK are establishing a manufacturing facility in Telford in the UK. For this newventure, we are looking for Quality Inspectors on a temporary basis. Cosma Casting UK will specialise in high pressure die-casting that designs and builds medium to large aluminium die-cast automotive components.Benefits:-Competitive hourly pay plus shift allowance-On-site parking-On-site shop-Retail discounts Hours:- 2 shift rotation 6:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 Position Summary:Reporting to the Quality Engineer the Quality Inspector is part of the team responsible for themanufacture of castings on site, ensuring a safe working environment and satisfying all customerquality standards. Responsibilities:- Guarantee a safe working environment- Ensure all production processes conform to current quality standards- Manufacture parts in time to satisfy customer demand- Strive to improve production processes- Part of team to root cause analysis of non-conforming production and implement corrective actions- Quality check of parts produced- Record hourly performance and Key characteristics of parts producedPersonal Attributes:- Results driven with good written and oral communication skills- Able to work in a faced paced team environment- Effective communication skills (written and verbal)- Self-motivated, able to initiate and follow tasks through to completionExperience:-Proven Quality Inspection experience- Experience of problem solving- Use of 5S to improve production environment- Good working knowledge of Microsoft (Excel, Word etc.)- Understanding of KPI's to track performance If this role suits your current skill set and experience please apply using the link on the advert or viahttps://ourclients.randstad.co.uk/cosma/vacancies/
