We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated professional to join an industry-leading therapeutic childcare provider operating high-quality residential settings in Fife - Lochgelly, Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes, Leven, Cupar and Dunfermline to name a few key areas. - Actively contribute to a safe, therapeutic setting by assisting with meal preparation, daily routines, domestic upkeep, and engaging recreational activities.
- Facilitate educational progress and empower children to build self-confidence and life skills.
- Maintain complete compliance with national care standards, accurate record-keeping, and robust safeguarding measures.
- Partner collaboratively with multi-disciplinary care teams to support young people managing emotional and social challenges.
- Driving Ability: A full, valid UK manual driving licence is essential to operate service vehicles.
- Values-Driven: Exceptional empathy, resilience, and active listening skills with a commitment to child safeguarding.
- Qualifications: SCQF Level 7 / SVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Residential Care (or a genuine enthusiasm to work towards this standard).
- Compliance: Willingness to undergo full PVG scheme background checks (costs fully covered).
- Flexibility: Ability to commit to a minimum of one shift every four weeks to maintain active status.
