Are you a highly experienced and knowledgeable leader in children's residential care? We are seeking a dedicated and professional Responsible Individual to provide oversight for our new children's home in Northumberland.
This is a unique opportunity to use your expertise to ensure our home operates to the highest standards, providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for young people. As the RI, you will play a critical role in the strategic development and quality assurance of the service.
What You'll Do
Provide clear leadership and direction to the Registered Manager.
Conduct regular quality assurance checks and audits to ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and internal policies.
Offer guidance and support on best practices, safeguarding, and care planning.
Help shape the strategic vision for the home's development and growth.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators and outcomes for children.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a responsible individual with significant senior-level experience in residential children's care. The ideal candidate will have:
A proven track record of successfully managing and leading multiple children's homes.
An in-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, the Children's Homes Regulations 2015, and the Quality Standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
A relevant professional qualification in social work, management, or a related field.
A deep-seated passion for improving the lives of young people.
