We are partnering with a premier global financial institution in their search for a Third Party & Outsourcing Risk Analyst. This is a 6-month temporary role based in London, offering a hybrid working model (4 days per week in the office) and a day rate of up to £425 per day via umbrella for the right candidate.
The Role
Sitting within the Operational Risk Controls & Governance team, you will support the implementation of the UK Third Party and Outsourcing strategy. You will collaborate with cross-border stakeholders to manage outsourcing and third-party risk while ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and enterprise policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Governance & Regulatory Alignment: Support third-party and outsourcing governance in line with regulatory guidelines (such as AT9 MaRisk, EBA-Guidelines, DORA, PRA, FCA, ACPR) and internal policies.
- Risk Assessments: Assist business owners in identifying outsourced relationships, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring governance compliance.
- Register Management: Maintain and update the outsourcing and third-party register in a timely manner, ensuring proper contracts and SLAs are in place.
- Reporting & Escalation: Escalate material issues to key stakeholders and develop, publish, and present reports for outsourced activities to risk committees.
- Project Management: Collaborate with stakeholders on project initiatives to remediate any identified gaps or issues.
This role could be right for you if you have:
- Education & Experience: A University degree (Bachelor's) alongside 1-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in Third Party Risk Management, Outsourcing Management, Operational Risk, or Regulatory Compliance.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the regulatory landscape facing global banks, with prior experience in banking, consulting, or regulatory institutions.
- Technical & Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and experience analysing and implementing complex regulatory requirements.
- Soft Skills: An effective communicator and self-driven professional with strong interpersonal skills, a risk-managed focus, and the ability to operate in large, complex environments.
