Location: Lingfield, Surrey
Salary: £12.71 - £13.65 per hour (depending on experience/qualifications)
Hours: Full-Time & Part-Time opportunities available (Up to 44.25 hours per week)
Shift Patterns: Monday-to-Friday-only options available!
Are you looking for a career with genuine purpose that doesn't force you to sacrifice your work-life balance?
We are seeking kind, resilient, and patient individuals to join an "Outstanding" rated residential campus in Lingfield. In this role, you will support children and young adults (ages 4-25) with epilepsy, autism, and severe learning disabilities to grow in confidence, develop independence, and achieve their goals.
The Big Selling Point: True Work-Life Balance
Unlike traditional care roles, this position is Term-Time Only (39 weeks per year)! You will get school holidays off to rest and recharge.
We offer excellent flexibility with Monday-to-Friday-only shift options, meaning you can keep your weekends completely free. Shifts include early mornings (06:45-13:30), late afternoons (15:45-22:00), or split shifts.
The Perks:
Minimum 3 Months Experience Required: We look for attitude and personality over a specific CV background.
Fully Funded Development: Comprehensive, fully funded training and professional qualifications from day one.
On-Site Benefits: Free on-site parking, a subsidised on-site restaurant, and potential access to affordable on-site accommodation.
Extra Rewards: Employee discounts/rewards platform and an occupational pension scheme.
The Reality of the Role
We believe in being completely transparent about what this job entails. Supporting young people with complex needs is deeply rewarding, but it also brings challenges.
The Challenges: You will be supporting individuals with daily personal care (with dignity), mobility assistance, communication barriers, and potentially challenging behaviours. There will be busy and emotional days.
The Rewards: You will never face these challenges alone. You will be part of a heavily team-oriented environment, celebrating the unforgettable moments when a young person achieves a milestone they have worked months to reach.
Who We Are Looking For:
You don't need a background in care-though experience in childcare, education, or healthcare is a plus. We want people who want a meaningful career, not just a job. You will fit right in if you are caring, reliable, resilient, and a positive team player.
⚠️ Must-Have Requirements:
You must be a driver: Due to the rural location and shift times, public transport is difficult, making a driving licence essential.
Availability: You must be available to start in September.
Flexibility: You must be able to commit to the required shift patterns.
(Please note: To ensure student safety, all successful applicants must complete a pre-employment screening, including a DBS check and referencing.)
Ready to make a real difference?
If you have the right mindset and are ready to start something meaningful this September, we want to hear from you!
