        A large FM and maintenance company are seeking a HVAC engineer, to undertake a contract role with the view to going permanent in South Manchester.This is a static role.The role is to undertake wide range of maintenance and fitting works across a large static site. This will include cleaning of air handling units, fault finding and small installations, maintenance of heating systems. You will also carry out works to Ventilation, Special Extraction & Air Conditioning Systems. Inspect HVAC systems and their components (e.g. heating units, building exhaust fans, ventilation units, etc.) for the purpose of evaluating condition, identifying necessary repairs and recommending preventive maintenanceCarry out works to Ventilation, Special Extraction & Air Conditioning Systems in accordance with both current HTMs (Specifically 03/01) and the statutory requirementsCarry out a wide range of maintenance tasks including statutory maintenance, planned preventative maintenance and testingProvide a versatile and flexible multi-skilled human resource capable of performing the planned preventive maintenance, reactive and corrective maintenance and other maintenance related activities to the Project Agreement requirements, and site services needs and expectationsPerform the activities of servicing, testing, verifying, diagnostics, repair and calibration of technologically advanced mechanical, electrical and electronic installations, plant and equipmentProvide management, technical advice to other maintenance staff, contractors to ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.
