As the Procurement Manager you will be responsible for the following:Support Project Director on construction procurement and logistics matters; Identify and source sub-contractors;Work with the engineering and QS teams to develop budgets according to bills ofquantities and other related calculations; evaluate cost effective options (e.g., lease vs buy alternatives)Support bidding documents and contracts; keep abreast with changes to design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly.Negotiate scopes of services and work schedules with preferred suppliers andsubcontractors.Take active role in preparations of construction and maintenance contracts and otherrelated legal documentation with suppliers.Arrange the logistics, transportation, shipping, customs, insurance for goods andservices worldwide.Make sure UK exported or imported goods clear through customs; manage freightforwarders, customs agents and brokers.Manage timely submissions of Export/import customs declarations to HMRCRandstad Business Support acts as an employment business when supplying temporary staff and as an employment agency when introducing candidates for permanent employment with a client.
