        Do you want to make a difference in the lives of children who are eager to learn?Are you interested in gaining valuable experience in the SEN sector?We are looking for a dedicated and hard-working individual to work with some amazing pupils in aschool that provides education to young people between the ages of 2 to 19 years old. The childrenmay have complex learning disabilities combined with significant communication difficultiesincluding little or no oral language. The school has expertise with autism spectrum conditions (ASD) deafblindness/multi-sensory impairment, hearing impairment with additional needs, profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), auditory processing disorder, visual impairment including cortical visual impairment with additional needs and additional medical needs including progressive and degenerative conditions. The school offers a wide range of inclusive sport, health and leisure activities for the community, their students and staff. The schools vision is for the children and young people in their care to be safe, happy and to achieve the best possible outcomes so that they are valued and valuable members of their communities. To achieve this, they have many different facilities for the pupils to use. These include a swimming pool, a hydrotherapy pool, a sports hall with a climbing wall, sensory rooms, gamelan suit, audiology clinic, medical centre and a fitnesssuite. The school is based in Cheadle Hulme.The schools curriculum was made to devise teaching and learning programmes to meet the needs of individual students' destinations when leaving school and to work in partnership and co-operation with parents, residential staff and other professionals who share the responsibility for the well-being of the individual and the development of self esteem. You will be working in a Primary School for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)based in Manchester. We support children with autism spectrum condition (ASC), profound multiplelearning difficulties (PMLD), severe learning difficulties (SLD) and other associated difficultiesincluding behaviour.As a Specialist Outreach and Inclusion Support Team the school provides appropriate, targetedresponses through verbal advice, observations, capacity building and training.
