        School Office ManagerDo you have experience of working within school administration? Are you available for interim positions in the coming weeks? If so, then we are looking for you! Due to an increase in requirements from our primary schools for office managers and business managers, we are currently recruiting in the East Lancashire area for experienced applicants to cover long term temporary contracts to begin in April and May.These school office manager and business manager positions require an excellent working knowledge of SIMS and ideally FMS6, as you will be expected to hit the ground running and deliver a high standard of work from the outset. You will also be expected to support the school in other areas including reception cover, liaising with parents, support to the Headteacher and other ad hoc tasks.The posts are full time, Monday to Friday, however we may be able to consider part time applications.The skills - Excellent administrative and ICT skills (including SIMS and FMS6) and the ability to multi-task. - Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.- Can be flexible and supportive. - The ability to work with high levels of tact, confidentiality and discretion, especially when dealing with pupils and parents. - At least 12 months previous experience of working within a school.The role- Day to day finance procedures, including order processing, invoicing and reconciliations. - Dealing with petty cash.- Supporting parents, pupils and staff with queries- Being the first port of call in the office and dealing with telephone calls and emails- Supporting another member of staff with attendance matters on SIMS- Ad hoc admin as required by the Head teacher.- Potentially assisting with any HR administration.- Assist with any school lettings.We are proud to support a diverse portfolio of schools across Lancashire, so even if this job or location is not suitable, we would still like to hear from you regarding your relevant school experience, as we may have other roles available in schools, which may be a better match.All candidates will be subject to Randstad Education's child protection and UK eligibility checks.
