Reporting into the Partner Lead for Building Consultancy across the business, and working with around 20 other building surveyors from across the Southern region, you will be responsible for providing the following building surveying services:Pre-acquisition surveysDilapidationsTechnical due diligenceSchedules of ConditionsProject Management / Contract AdministrationIn addition to the above you will be an ambassador for the company, developing business and building relationships with clients, working in unision with colleagues from other disciplines to provide top service across all areas of commercial property.You will also be expected to manage a senior building surveyor, with the view to bring in other surveyors for delivery of work.The requirementsIn order to be considered for this role, you will need to be:A strong client facing surveyor, with a commercial mindset, to maximise business opportunitiesAn excellent communicator, both verbally and in writingMotivated to develop business and build work pipelinesHighly organised and able to manage your own and others' time effectivelyyou will need to be a fully member of the RICS for this Associate Building Surveyor role, either MRICS or FRICS, and will need to have a strong background in technical commercial building surveying.You will also need a full and valid UK Driving license and access to a vehicle as you will be expected to travel across Surrey, Berkshire and West Sussex for this role.
