        I am recruiting for a Export Coordinator on a contract basis with a leading engineering company in Luton. The position is a temporary 12 month role working 25 hours per week, with fleixble hours!Responcibilties:Ability to determine the status of respective orders for shipment. Use of Epicor System to check sales order against customer purchase order/contract and ensure all details are correct. Ensure export documentation is listed on Purchase Order and meets requirement for countryCreation of despatch paperwork and co-ordination of carriers and internal resources to support export and import shipments under IPR and payment terms such as Letters of Credit. Entry of details on invoice system, checking VAT charges and retention of information for future reference. Posting of invoice after despatch of goods. Creation of document pack for the consignment as dictated by the customer and minimums. Advise customer of shipment and provide relevant documentation. Ensure customer shipping instructions are obtained and followed. Regular liaison with Aftermarket Value Stream Manager, Stores Manager and stores team to effect timely despatch. Liaison with HT Original Equipment and Project Teams on key accounts relative to despatch and unit progress. Negotiate pricing with carrier and freight agents to ensure competitive quotations and minimise costs. Sound knowledge of all commercial shipping terms and conditions including certificates of originGenerate and post all invoices. Maintain clear and accurate records to ensure HMRC compliance and to an auditable standard. Focus and expertise to include chamber of commerce and HMRC awareness for the compliant shipping of export goods. Essential: Knowledge of commercial terms incorporated within contracts/customer purchase orders. * Extensive knowledge of import/export process and associated documentation * Experience/Knowledge of Spire Export Licensing system Sound knowledge of HMRC requirements and associated documentation. Experience/Knowledge of Rules of Origin, including non-preference and preference. * Effective organisational skills /prioritisation with strong attention to detail. Desirable: Commercial awareness & Contract knowledge Ability to utilise Microsoft Programmes and mainframe systems.
