    Aerodynamic Surface Designer required on a permanent basis to join an industry leading motorsport business.Are you looking for an exciting opportunity at the forefront of off racing technology? Do you have experience working in an advanced engineering / R&D environment? Do you think you have what it takes to work at pace and deal with the challenges of a complex motorsport environment? As an Aerodynamic Surface Designer you will be responsible for generating the aerodynamic surfaces required to support the aerodynamic development programme.Key responsibilities:Develop and maintain robust multi level parametric CAD surface files suitable for use by AerodynamicistsFinalise files, including legality checks, of surface to be released to full size productionAsses surface quality and ensure FIA legality of all group project surface files. Feedback suggested improvements as necessaryDevelop time saving efficiencies within the surface model structuresWork with CAD specialists to develop software improvements, including macros, to add efficiencies to the surfacing processMonitor and adjust Aero project tracking software to suit varying workload and deadlinesProvide guidance and tuition to junior surfacers and designersExperience required:Degree educated or equivalent in Engineering and proven experience in motorsportExcellent NX CAD skills.Microsoft office literate.Deadline driven.Clear and concise communication, verbally and with the use of email.Ability to plan and manage own workloads.Ability to prioritise under tight deadlines.Able to feedback suggestions for improvements.Continual critical self-assessment.This is an awesome opportunity to be part of a leading business which offers an interesting, varied and exciting workload coupled with a motivated and passionate culture.
