The role will provide manufacturing process support, with concentration on the facilities and utilities- boilers, compressors, effluent plant and more. The successful candidate will be an experienced facilities or site services manager, ideally with experience working within a FMCG or food manufacturing facility. It is essential that the successful candidate has an understanding of utilities, facilities and effluent plants, with proven experience in improving reliability and reducing waste/cost. Candidates could have been working within another capacity of engineering, such as reliability, but must have had experience working on facilities and utilities, with an understanding of manufacturing processes. Working in a standalone role, but with the support of the engineering manager and team, the objective of the role is to ensure the efficient running of all utilities and effluent plants, while looking at initiatives to reduce waste and cost, while improving reliability. You will be responsible for projects within your area, be that facilities or site services related. You will be working with equipment, such as; Boilers, Compressors, Effluent Plant, Silos, essentially looking after all site facilities that are not directly engineering related.
