You will build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations, as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues in our dev, test and production environments, including support to server scripting, databases, application servers, API gateway, certificate management, routing, reverse proxy configuration, etc.Your accountabilities as our Digital Platform Engineer will include:Providing DevOps toolchain access management/DevOps toolchain support/maintenance/upgrades and overall user experience improvementsCollaborating with Vitality technical teams and 3rd party infrastructure service providers in the design, build, and operation of Vitality Platform and infrastructure services within the AWS Digital environment and external cloud provisioned systemsAutomating and orchestrating the delivery of infrastructure and platform services, promoting the use of IaC across all teamsBeing responsible for the day-to-day support, maintenance, and upgrade of Vitality AWS digital infrastructure and platforms applying AWS best practice to keep tools and environments up to dateEnsuring server/application patches are kept up to date throughout the digital environmentContinuously improving existing processesManaging Certificates/API Gateway/Reverse ProxyProviding input into the strategic direction and roadmap of technologies within area of disciplineResolving and making decisions on more complex incidents and service requestsWhat we’re looking for in our Digital Platform Engineer:Experience in AWS, scripting, DevOps tool stack, Atlassian, infrastructure as code, design, architecture, infrastructure, networking, windows admin, Linux admin, automation, git management, leadership, mentoring, SME level technology specialismKnowledge in Ansible, Kubernetes, Istio, Kafka, Jenkins, Jira, confluence, NGINX, WSO2, Sitecore, TDD, DNS is desirableWorking for Vitality, you'll experience an exciting mix of creativity and innovation, within a framework of challenging objectives and a passion for delivering the best.Our people are chosen for their skills, knowledge, enthusiasm, and attitude but above all, their belief that anything can be achieved.Closing Date: Wednesday 18th May 2022If you feel you have the skills and experience to become our Digital Platform Engineer, then please click ‘apply’ today.
