      Overall purpose of role A Vice President in the ECM Execution team based in Continental Europe will work with 2 London-based ECM Execution Directors and be responsible for the project management of ECM offerings for Continental European issuers. The team member will be expected to lead the execution of ECM transactions.Key Accountabilities ∙ Responsibility for all aspects of the execution of ECM transactions including: ∙ Project/process management, including liaising with clients, internal colleagues and external advisers and the co-ordination of timetables and workstreams ∙ Assistance in the appointment of all necessary external advisers and reviewing the scope of work of such advisers ∙ Prospectus drafting ∙ Due diligence ∙ Assist in interactions with relevant regulators ∙ Liaising with internal risk functions (primarily legal and compliance) ∙ Support and assist in the internal approvals process (i.e. commitment committee) ∙ Undertake internal training on the regulatory regime and ECM market practice ∙ Assist in the formulation and implementation of internal policies and procedures relating to ECM offerings ∙ Support ECM originators develop and maintain client relationships and to assist, where required, in client pitches and deal structuring Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications: ∙ Prior experience of ECM transactions ∙ Good working knowledge of regulation and current market practice ∙ Ability to perform under pressure with high attention to detail ∙ Sufficient confidence and gravitas to lead and manage large groups of professional advisers ∙ Capable of acting on own initiative ∙ Excellent analytical skills Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications: - Experienced transaction manager with a demonstrable track record working on financial services ECM deals. - Good financial management experience - Analytical skills - Ability to network and influence others and work with senior stakeholders - Prior experience of working in an investment banking environment a must - Strong understanding of risk and issue management and how this is performing with senior/ challenging stakeholders; - Ability to communicate at all levels; - Good organizational skills and attention to detail; - Ability to build strong relationships; - Collaborative style with ability to quickly build trust/credibility;Randstad Financial & Professional encourage applications from individuals of all ages & backgrounds.
