        Procurement Specialist - 6 month contract - £600-£700 (Inside IR35) Purpose of the job:Sitting within the Commercial and Procurement team, you will be responsible for the Bank's procurement activity ensuring it is commercial and compliant. You will be working with the wider commercial and procurement team and business stakeholders to ensure commercial and procurement support is provided to the business. Main duties:To be a senior procurement expert for the Bank providing advice and guidance to colleagues on all procurement matters;To be an expert resource in running procurement exercises and in all aspects of contract management;For more complex and higher value procurements to manage those directly; Lead and coordinate Public Sector regulated tenders;Produce all required procurement documentation for all large/high risk/complex procurements;Manage evaluation and moderation processes;Contribute to compelling MI insights that provide management with high quality analysis of the Bank's procurement activities in order to inform strategic decision making;Assisting the business with contract management and supplier relationship management; Be a member of working groups on all projects that have a significant spend planned or a commercial impact on the organisation;Be a main point of contact with the Bank's internal and external legal advisors; Assist the Head of Commercial and Procurement in establishing the function as a strategic partner to all other functions within the Bank. Knowledge and experience:Extensive experience in procurement within both the public and private sectorsAn excellent working understanding of public procurement legislation and regulation including OJEU tendersA sound commercial procurement outlook with an ability to provide commercially focussed adviceGood experience of professional services procurementAn all-round procurement strategist and practitionerDemonstrable deep knowledge of commercial contracts including formation, drafting and negotiation;Broad category expertise (service rather than goods) If you have experience working as a Procurement Specialist with the experience listed above, please forward your CV today.Randstad Financial & Professional encourage applications from individuals of all ages & backgrounds.
