Randstad are working with a North West based organisation who are opening a new 20 bed male rehabilitation centre in the Bacup area and are looking for an experienced Hospital / Registered Manager. The company is offering a very competitive salary of £45,000 to £50,000 plus Bonuses. As the Hospital Manager your responsibilities will include Management and supervision of the Nursing, Therapy and Business Services,ensuring that appropriate management arrangements are in place at the unit at alltimes, including out of hours on-call cover.To be responsible for ensuring that all nursing and care standards, regulatorystandards, and other quality measurement criteria are met, and that allnotifications to the regulatory body, Safeguarding Authority or other agenciesare made as required.To ensure that statutory responsibilities for MCA and / or MHA are fulfilled forthe service.To be responsible for ensuring that robust Local Integrated Governancearrangements are in place, and that the Quality & Performance ManagementSystem is maintained to a high standard.To be responsible for the overall recruitment, supervision and managementof all staff on a day to day basis, ensuring that staffing resources availableover the 24 hour period, are sufficient, as regards number, qualification,training, experience and gender mix, to meet the demands of the patients /service users.To be responsible for ensuring that the induction training, in-house trainingand supervision provided to all staff is conducive to providing an environmentthat is caring, healthy, safe and therapeutic.
