Coordinate and monitor first aid training within the schools and, provide inset training days for the staff.Be involved in health education within the schools, through PSHE lessons.Be part of the Schools' 'Safeguarding Children' team.Attend meetings, parent's evenings, sports days and in-service training days as required by the schools, helping them in all areas to the best of your ability.Requirements Clinical expertise.A recognised nursing qualification.Knowledge of the Public Health Agenda relevant to School Nursing.Understanding of Healthy Schools Initiative.Ability to prioritise and organise own work load.Effective communication both verbal and written.A strong work ethic and a professional attitude.
