        Principal (EYFS and KS1) Required: ASAP Location: Seoul, South Korea Region: Far East and South East Asia - Leadanywhere Curriculum: British / Inquiry Based Curriculum Experience Required: 5+ years ideallySchool Overview: This school group currently operates across five sites in Seoul and offers the English National Curriculum with an inquiry-based, hands-on approach to learning. The main emphasis is on providing a secure, fun and nurturing environment for all children to overcome challenge, develop individually and at their own pace. Places are currently offered to students from 18 months up to Secondary age. Each campus has its own distinctive ethos which, with the support of the local community, has evolved over time. However, all campuses share common aims and values.Role Overview: The Principal role is at an established site for approximately 130 EYFS and Key Stage 1 students. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Pre-Preps (currently 3), and be a part of the Pre-Prep Leadership Team that seeks to further develop the quality of education in all Pre-Preps. You must be prepared to engage in sharing, collaborating, and supporting the development of people, policies, and processes across the group for the good of all students and employees. This is a wonderful opportunity for professional teachers to further develop their career and to be involved in the development of a growing school over the coming years.Responsibilities:Overall responsibility for the leadership of the school and its enrolment and marketingWork closely with key leaders to promote the school in the wider communityManage a team of about 20 international and local teachers (including lead / key leader members), and work with a committed established administrative teamDevelop strong links and regular communication channels with parentsEnsure the health and safety of all pupils through pastoral careOversee curriculum / student development at all age groupsManage appraisal / development process for all teaching staffRequirements:Teachers must be fully qualified with a Bachelor of EducationA minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience, as well as prior experience as a Head / Principal, or experience as a Deputy Head in a larger environmentUK curriculum experience is ideal, although those with inquiry based such as IPC or IB will also be considered.ESL training and experience is an advantagePrevious international experience, particularly in South Korea / East Asia is also an advantage.Passionate about education and what is best for children at this stage of their developmentA collaborative and team leadership styleCulturally aware with strong communication and people development skill?Package:Competitive Salary: subject to experience.
