        We are looking for someone hands-on with a can do attitude to contribute to the growth and success of an asset and currency management firm. This role is a full-time permanent position. Responsibilities: Serves as a technical expert in the area of system administration for complex operating systems.Helps develop, document, communicate, and enforce a network technology policy.Is responsible for the installation and configuration of new software and hardware, including the server network, devices and firewalls.Is responsible for monitoring system performance, IT system operations and storage utilization.Plans ahead for necessary hardware or software upgrades to support system growth.Manages user accounts and assets, and assigns and updates security permissions on the network according to security policy.Provides support with escalated help desk requests.Leads a team of systems administrators, coordinates with different departments.Mentors team members and educates users.Skills and ExperienceSolid technical aptitude, good people skills and the ability to work in a team.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Desktop/Server operating systems. Microsoft Windows 10, Server 2016 +. - Ideally MCSE or equivalent. Strong knowledge of Microsoft networking technologies - Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, ADFS.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Exchange . Strong knowledge of Symantec endpoint protection manager or Commvault.Familiarity with virtualization technologies e.g. Hyper-V.Experience with Server and Service Disaster Recovery Processes. Broad based knowledge of applications in the Microsoft ecosystem: backup technologies, Microsoft Data Protection Manager.Cisco Experience - CCNA ideally. Familiarity with network security technologies such as firewalling and network segmentation.Working knowledge of network features and protocols i.e. TCP/IP V4, SIP, ARP, Vlan's.Good understanding of IT Security practices, methodologies, tools mechanisms and trends.Due to a high volume of applications only those progressing to the next stage will be contacted.
