The role will report into the Head of IT and will become the main point of contact for IT issues and requests alongside being involved in other areas of IT & Data.The role will be an 80/20 time split between IPS Group and the apprenticeship scheme.You will be responsible for:Providing IT support to users within the business (first and second line)Identifying any potential issues and resolving and/or educating users on how best to approach functionalitySupporting the Head of IT & MSP on third line issuesUtilising the internal ticketing system to manage user requests and issuesWorking alongside managed service providers to provide support and solutions to issues/requests on their products (CRM, Telecoms, Website, etc)Working with the Head of IT to implement an ITIL framework for IT Support within the businessProviding support to candidates that are attending online interviewsAssisting with delivering the IT strategy and ongoing projects, ensuring data accuracy within the system and delivering solutions that assist consultants with their CRM usage Assisting consultants with technical workflows (Mass mails, hotlists, saved searching, etc)Delivering manually generated IT reports for Exco and other managers within the businessAssisting with identifying how to utilise data within the reports and working alongside Divisional Directors in delivering any analysisManaging job board credit allocations Keeping IT Asset registers up to dateReviewing update reports and ensuring all user devices are kept up to date and secureYou will need the following skills:Basic understanding of technologyExperience within a customer facing roleAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to prioritise and escalate where necessaryAble to provide a personable approach when dealing with staff issues/requestsAbility to keep calm and work under pressurePassion for IT or driven towards a career within IT“Can do” attitude without being afraid to ask questions or for helpSelf-motivated and able to identify opportunitiesCustomer focused approachWillingness to learnEntry requirements:The entry requirements for this Cloud Network Specialist programme are as follows:3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subjectGCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subjectYou may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme.
