        Overview Location : Lloyd House, Birmingham city centre & WFHHours: 37.5 hours (full time) Job Title - Lawyer - Misconduct and InquestsSalary: £42,000-£50,000 or £22.00-£26.00 per hour (approx)Company: West Midlands Police Purpose We currently have an exciting opportunity for a diligent and capable employment law expert with the West Midlands Police. You will be tasked with conducting employment tribunals with Police staff under the general direction of the Director of Legal Services, the services of a Solicitor/Barrister in the provision of a comprehensive legal service tothe Chief Constable and Police and Crime Commissioner for both Staffordshire and West Midlands Police as required.Requirements The post holder must be a qualified, practicing solicitor or barrister and must hold a valid Practicing Certificate for England and WalesExperience working on a caseload relating to employment tribunals/misconduct/disciplinariesTo be able to demonstrate experience of advising on a range of complex casesKnowledge of Misconduct Law and Statutory Guidance , Inquest Law, Equality Act 2010, Human Rights Act 2000 and other relevant legislation.
