What will you be responsible for:Updating supplier schedule and anticipating any risk of shortages.Supervise supplies and safety levels to reach an optimal inventory position.Determine stock levels to support engineering requisitions and approve/deny production.Initiate perpetual inventory mechanism to maintain continued accurate stock records.Analysing stock status and movement of all parts under control whilst maintaining production.Supplying components in the agreed time as per Purchase Order.Following Up and tracking all deliveries from suppliers to SMRUK from the shipment data.Contacting suppliers running early or late to make them aware of their position in the delivery plan and monitoring their delivery performance.Rating suppliers overall efficiency, escalating possible deviations with factual analysis reports. Maintaining high standards as the operational contact point for all information related to the supplier.Ensure that you adopt and federate company policy.Support the Change Request process, approve/deny these requests whilst factoring in the business needs. Implement modifications and ensure change points are captured on the business system in line with Company procedures.To assist and carry out customs clearances.Support the Investigation of discrepancies between computer stock and instigate corrective action necessary.Assist other departments as required; Accounts Department in resolution of invoice queries, highlight possible discrepancies to Production Process.Support manufacturing and deal with any internal/external issues which affect the customer requirements.Ensure that you comply and adopt the CANDO programme regarding the organisation of your work environment.Creation of Item masters and BOM for new parts and to update trim levels when needed.Support with the conformance and continual improvement of the company Quality Management System to IATF 16949, Environmental management system ISO14001, Occupational Health and safety management system ISO45001 and customer specific requirements.Ensure understanding and compliance to the company's latest Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality policies.
