      Electrical CraftspersonRandstad Engineering are currently recruiting for an Electrical Craftsperson to join the Electrical team at their client in Shotton. Working in the raw material environment, our client turns coiled steel into a variety of products used in the construction market. Purpose of Job The jobholder must ensure the efficient execution of installation and corrective/preventive maintenance whilst adhering to both local and works procedures. Working in Electrical Distribution, the jobholder will be involved in the provision of electrical services to a wide variety of areas: this includes High Voltage distribution at up to 33kV and all Low Voltage distribution and equipment outside of Manufacturing. Accountabilities Adhere to local and works procedures in relation to both Safety and Environment, undertake Risk Assessments and contribute to the delivery of the local Health & Safety Plan.Undertake projects and preventive/corrective maintenance on LV distribution systems.Support the distribution engineers in delivery of projects and preventive/corrective maintenance on Shotton's HV network.Facilitate with the development of Apprentices.Review maintenance procedures and amend /implement as necessary.Run and maintain standby generatorsAssist Colors manufacturing and other end users in fault resolution in those areas of overlap between the HV/LV network and the end users part of the system.Testing of the works earthing network.Knowledge and Experience The candidate will be a time served electrician in possession of formal qualifications (preferably HNC or equivalent)Relevant manufacturing environment experience. Good communications skills and an understanding of company procedures, good risk awareness when planning and undertaking tasks, and being able to challenge those who do not. The position is an initial 12 month contract paying £10.24 per hour. You would be required to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday. The RoleWe are currently seeking someone with a strong IT background to join us in a new business role. The role will entail general administrative duties to support the Fabrications department as well as programming our 2 Bystronic press brakes (full training will be provided).We are looking for someone with initiative to by themselves as well as embrace change and look for future improvement ideas. The role will include but not be limited to:- Programming of 2 Bystronic press brake machines using RADAN - Radbend software- Printing works orders and scheduling departmental workload based on priority- Recording production using Stratix (ERP system)- Assisting the Fabrications team in all aspects of the job - including hands on shop floor work when required- Building cross department relations with Logistical/Technical teams- Dealing with production queries and actioning as required Requirements / Personal SpecificationIt is essential applicants have a good level of IT knowledge including the use of Microsoft's Office 365 package.Transferrable programming skills such as CAD/CAM would be advantageous but not a requirement as full training will be provided for the right applicant.A basic IT skills test may be required after a successful interview.
