As a Production Operative you will be reporting to the Production Manager and be required to work as part of the Production team to ensure that all customer orders are fulfilled, stock levels are maintained and all to a high standard and in a safe and responsible way.Core Responsibilities:Assisting the Production team with completing their daily tasksStock management - dealing with collections and deliveries and storing goods and raw materials in the factory or warehouseReporting equipment faults to maintenance staffUsing lifting equipment and forkliftsPackaging goods ready for shipmentCleaning and maintaining work areas and machineryQualificationsNo Formal qualifications are required to fulfil this role.You must complete all relevant in-house trainingWhile performing the duties of this job, you will be frequently required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. You will occasionally be required to sit and you will regularly come into contact with several materials, which if handled in accordance with company policies and procedures will prove harmless. Certain tasks will be of a repetitive nature although many varied tasks are involved.No formal experience is required but a willingness to learn and develop is essential.This is a day shift role - Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm Randstad Business Support acts as an employment business when supplying temporary staff and as an employment agency when introducing candidates for permanent employment with a client.
