    A market leader in chemical solutions is inviting applications for the position of Business Development Manager to join the Technical Sales team in a field based role covering the North of England.Ideally suited to a strong relationship builder with a Chemical or Chemical Engineering background and a solid technical knowledge of chemical solutions in a wide range of industries, you will convert opportunities identified by the Account Management team and take ownership of the technical side of the sales process, developing long lasting, trusting relationships with your customers.The role is home based and requires travel to customer sites across the North of England. You'll be supported by colleagues with highly specialised and advanced chemicals knowledge, working with customers to identify and deliver the appropriate solutions.The business is looking to appoint someone with good technical knowledge and a track record of driving value added sales. You'll need to be a good relationship builder who is values-led and operates with integrity and trust. The role is targeted both on sales and project delivery, with on target earnings coming from a combination of individual and wider team delivery.This is a newly created role that makes up part of a small team in a large, international business.
