    Job Role: Helpdesk Manager Salary: Up to £25ph Location: North London Temp role Full-time 36 hours per week 9:00am - 5:30pmThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Helpdesk Manager based in a Local Authority in North London. The ideal candidate will take overall and manage day to day responsibility of the existing Helpdesk.The main responsibilities of this Helpdesk Manager jobHave overall responsibility for the operation, maintenance and updating of the company's operational Property Management Systems.Ensure all work orders for both planned and reactive maintenance and works, invoicing and any internal transfers are processed efficiently and prioritised correctly, within required timescales.Ensure all work orders are followed up, chased as necessary and expedited through to conclusion.Ensure that all ongoing issues are reported to the relevant Property Manager for further action.Provide effective team management, technical advice and supervision ensuring the overall outputs of the associated systems are delivered with service needs met. Coaching and developing staff to maximise performance.Maintaining and projecting all key PPMs to in-house or specialist outsourced contractors.Delivering core hour Helpdesk cover for Corporate, commercial and school properties.(OOH helpdesk and support for emergencies)Manage and maintain a database for recording all issues reported to the facilities helpdesk.Skills/KnowledgeExperience of effectively managing a team to meet targets and provide complex data to varying audiences.High level of Customer Service experienceGood communication skillsPlanning and organisation, Excellent attention to detail, Team Work, Problem solvingExperience in dealing with staff and customer queries / idea of building maintenance / facilities managementExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, Outlook email, internet/web-based materialSome Knowledge of Technology Forge and CAFM systemsWorking towards strict Key Performance IndicatorsPrevious experience of working in Public Sector or Education sector as a Helpdesk ManagerClients are looking to interview and shortlist shortly, so please submit your CV promptly for consideration.
