We are looking for dedicated Assistive Technology Trainers with a wealth of experience and skills for students with disabilities.This role can take place either remotely or on site at a university campus.As Assistive Technology Trainer, you will be required to provide training and support to students in how to use their assistive technology and specialist software in relation to their studies in accordance with the student's specialist needs or requirements.This role can take place either remotely or on site at a university campus.We are recruiting for multiple locations across the UK. - North East- North West- Midlands- London - South East- South West Benefits * £22-25 per hour + 28 days paid holiday per year * Flexible working hours - manage your own schedule! Support as many or as few students to fit around your existing commitments * Opportunities to support a high volume of students, the more pro-active you are, the more work you will have! * Continuous financial investment in your training and development - the more you work, the more we will invest! * Free eye tests Responsibilities*Provide a substantial programme of training for the student in how to use their specialist software and technology*Assist the student with finding technological solutions to learning challenges *Knowledge and understanding of students' learning requirements and how to address challenges such as organisational skills, planning and time management or concentration RequirementsEssential: * Knowledge and skills in strategies to support learning for students with disabilities*Broad understanding of assistive technology and technological solutions such as mind mapping, text to speech and speech to text, Microsoft Windows and Mac accessibility, digital recorders to aid memory#* General knowledge of assistive systems such as Dragon, texthelp etc.*Significant experience of working in a training capacity Desirable: * Experience of supporting students in further or higher education with disabilities If you're a skilled Assistive Technology trainer who is looking for a well paid and flexible role, then please apply today!Randstad SWS acts as an employment business when supplying temporary staff and as an employment agency when introducing candidates for permanent employment with a client.
