      Are you an Ops Manager, looking for a new challenge with future progression? ResponsibilitiesResponsible for Safety Management System and approval of all site documents including procedures and inspections.Manage the contact/interface with all appropriate regulatory / professional bodies.Senior role in all aspects of incident control for the Swansea Depot.Report to senior management on Near Misses, Misloads, PSPI performance for site.Create, agree & achieve annual cost budgets for the depot.Work closely with Transport Manager to ensure safe and efficient distribution of product.Act as Permit to Work, SAP and Legionella Responsible person.Act as site Health and Safety lead coordinator.Identify site improvements - operational compliance / efficiency - and ensure these are communicated in a timely manner and included in the annual Capex plan.Effectively manage operational teamsIdentify & drive all areas of operational improvement required to meet future/projected business needs.Have ability to liaise with customer base on operational and technical requirements, including safe compliance and tank/site inspections.Liaise with other Operations Managers for best practice sharing depot cooperationResponsible for management and upkeep of packaging fleet.Undertake designated site ops / engineering inspections.Ensure out of hours emergency calls are dealt with effectively (in conjunction with GM).Ensure staff development through management and coachingYou will need: National level 3 qualifications in related technical fields IOSH and NEBOSH qualifications essential.Knowledge and experience of storage and distribution.The hours of work are 7:30am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. We are currently looking for a Stores Operative to join their team, working 40 hours per week and earning £21,172 per year. ResponsibilitiesTo receive, identify, unload, locate, issue and deliver consumables, engineering spares, lubricants and other materials. Process all associated paperwork in accordance to the processes and procedures identified.Receive, locate, pack, dispatch and arrange transport of "Repairable Spares" under warranty items and non-conformance goods to suppliers.Carry out material racking audits as and when requested.Deal with day to day operations queries, both verbal and written, e.g. N.C.Rs., or refers to the Shift Manager, as appropriate.To effectively liaise with Port Talbot user departments at all levels and functional managers, when required.Deliver stores stock and direct charge material, as directed.Operation of the Stores automated storage machines by use of the on board computer or via a PC linked by software interface.About youGood understanding of Stores and Spares operations.Have the ability to organise, in order to provide agreed service levels to plant.Educated to minimum GCSE standard (or equivalent).NVQ in storekeeping would be an advantage.Full clean driving licence is preferable and undertake the relevant training for Fork Lifts, Cranes, Internal HGVs,Slinging, Lubrication handling and distribution.
