Position: Internal Sales Apprentice
Location: Birmingham
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with a 60-minute lunch break)
Holidays: 25 annual leave days + 8 Bank Holidays (3 days to be retained for Christmas closure)
About the Role:
As an Internal Sales Apprentice, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and quote conversion. You will manage and support internal sales accounts, handle project inquiries under £50k, and expertly guide projects from initial inquiry to final order. This position offers a clear path for professional development and the chance to make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service through handling incoming calls and managing email inquiries.
- Understand customer needs to build strong, lasting relationships.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date CRM system.
- Resolve customer issues efficiently to ensure high satisfaction.
- Support the estimating team by consulting on minor projects and processing sample requests.
- Assist the external sales team with pricing queries and gather essential project information.
What We're Looking For:
- A proactive and results-oriented individual with a passion for sales.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Strong IT proficiency, particularly with Excel and Word.
- Ability to manage workload effectively and work collaboratively within a team.

- Minimum GCSE Level Maths and English.
