About the Role:
Bring languages to life for secondary pupils in Hockley! A high-performing secondary school, supported by a national Multi-Academy Trust renowned for staff well-being, is seeking an energetic Modern Foreign Languages specialist to teach French and/or Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4. Maintaining clear classroom routines and strong behaviour management is essential, alongside the ability to differentiate language learning for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Located close to Hockley rail station, the school offers an easy commute from Southend-on-Sea, Rayleigh, and Rochford.
What You Need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome).
- Proven expertise teaching French, Spanish, or both up to GCSE level.
- Robust behaviour management strategies and skills to adapt tasks for SEN learners.
- Valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
