Do you have a passion for making a real difference in the lives of young people? We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN class teacher to join our supportive school community.
Working Hours: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8:45 - 4, Wednesday from 8:45 - 4:30 and Friday from 8:45 - 3:30.
We operate a strict no-sponsorship policy; all applicants must have the permanent right to work in the UK.
Your Role…- Planning and delivering creative, stimulating lessons for SEN students aged 7-19, including GCSE-standard work.
- Providing a safe, nurturing space where every student feels inspired to reach their full potential.
- Supervising teaching assistants and collaborating with a great team to help our students grow.
- Supporting the emotional well-being and developmental needs of our students.
- Communicating regularly and positively with parents to celebrate progress and keep everyone in the loop.
- Ensuring our school's high standards for safety and well-being are always put first and following safeguarding policies.
- Supervision all teaching assistants within the classroom setting and give quality feedback to pupils and their parents.
- Maintain a calm and professional composure when faced with challenging behaviours.
Essentials of the Job…
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience working and supporting students with special educational need.
- A friendly, organised approach and a real spark for teaching.
- Access to your own transport due to the site's rural location.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check.
