Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant (11-18 Education)
Location: Basildon, Essex
Pay Rate: £95.00 per day
Contract: Term-Time Only / Immediate & Flexible Starts

Randstad is recruiting passionate SEN LSAs for vibrant Secondary Schools and specialist provisions across Basildon. If you thrive on helping young people build confidence, independence, and academic success, this role is for you.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting students with ASC, SEMH, MLD, or complex learning needs through key secondary transitions.
- Acting as a mentor and positive role model in both traditional subjects and practical workshops.
- De-escalating challenging behaviors and facilitating inclusive learning experiences.
- Tracking pupil progress alongside the school SENCo.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience as an LSA, TA, Care Worker, or Youth Support Worker.
- Strong communication skills and empathy for teenage learners.
- Ability to commit to school hours (typically 8:30am - 3:30pm).
