Salary: M1 to M6 (£32,916 - £45,352 per annum, depending on experience)

We are seeking a compassionate, creative, and committed SEN Teacher to join our team and deliver a truly personalised learning experience for our young people. About the Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will have the ability to teach both Maths and Science to learners aged between 7 and 19. Working in small groups or 1:1 settings, you will deliver an engaging, flexible curriculum to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 learners.
You will collaborate closely with Site Lead Teachers to design innovative, multi-sensory learning experiences that support each child's individual needs, interests, and goals. Your teaching will focus on:
Building confidence and improving engagement.
Helping learners progress academically, socially, and emotionally.
Ensuring safety, wellbeing, and inclusion remain at the heart of everything you do.
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Delivery: Create and review personalised learning programmes, lesson plans, and schemes of work.
Creative Engagement: Use varied approaches to meet diverse needs and maximise student interest.
Advocacy: Involve young people in decisions regarding their own learning journeys.
Assessment & Tracking: Support Learning Managers with learner profiles, SEN information, and progress reports.
Curriculum Development: Contribute to subject-specific improvements and record-keeping for commissioning bodies (e.g., EHCPs).
Professional Growth: Commit to ongoing development and stay updated on SEN best practices.

Skills and Experience Required
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience in either Maths or Science (or a willingness to undertake professional development in these areas upon appointment).
SEN teaching experience is preferred.
A relevant Level 6 qualification.
