We are recruiting for a modern, purpose-built independent specialist school in Wilmslow that supports children and young people aged 5-19 with Autism spectrum conditions (ASC) and associated educational challenges. Having recently achieved "Outstanding" Ofsted ratings in both Behaviour & Attitudes and Personal Development, this school provides a safe, nurturing environment where every child truly matters.
With a small student capacity, the focus here is entirely on quality of care, individual progress, and tailored learning.

Key Responsibilities:
Supporting pupils with tailored learning activities and specific care needs.
Promoting independence, self-esteem, and positive behaviour.
Building warm, trusting relationships that help pupils feel secure and valued.
Assisting class teachers in delivering a broad, balanced, and engaging curriculum.
Remaining flexible and adaptive to meet the ever-changing needs of the pupils.
What We Are Looking For
We want to hear from compassionate, enthusiastic, and child-focused individuals who are genuinely committed to safeguarding and pupil welfare.
Essential Criteria:
GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C / Level 3 or above, or equivalent).
Experience working with SEN pupils (this can be in a paid or voluntary capacity).
A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles.
Desirable Criteria:
Level 2+ qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.
Knowledge of SEN, SEMH, or Autism Spectrum Conditions.
A full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
