Location: Cranleigh, Surrey (GU6)
Salary: £23,000 - £26,000 per annum (Depending on experience) / Equivalent Hourly Rate
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (Part-time options available)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (No weekends, no evenings)

Job Description:
Are you an experienced Support Worker, Care Assistant, or HCA looking to transition away from irregular shift patterns into a structured, specialised SEN environment?
Randstad is currently recruiting for a Learning Support Worker to join a highly regarded adult day service in Cranleigh, Surrey. This professional role is designed for care professionals who wish to utilise their existing care and positive behaviour support skills within a proactive, developmental framework.
Core Responsibilities:
Developmental Support: Deliver structured, person-centred learning and activity plans to autistic adults to promote independent living skills.
Community Integration: Accompany and support learners during local community excursions, social events, and vocational opportunities.
Clinical & Personal Care: Maintain the highest standards of dignity-focused personal care (including washing and dressing) and safe medication administration where required.
Documentation: Keep meticulous records of learner progress, behavioural data, and safeguarding logs in accordance with regulatory standards.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional experience as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, or similar health and social care role.
Skills: Proven competency in managing challenging behaviours and utilising positive behaviour support (PBS) models.
Education: Sound literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE English & Maths Grade C/4 or equivalent is highly desirable).
Compliance: This position is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
