These incredible SEND schools specialises in education for children ages 5 to 16 years with complex SEN needs such as speech and language difficulties and Autism.

I am currently recruiting for a teaching assistant who is dedicated and committed to providing the best guidance and support throughout the day for the school's students.
This role is needed on a full time basis. Working Monday-Friday 08:30-4:00pm. This role is term time only.

Your responsibilities include:
- Assist students during class making sure they are on track
- Liaise with class teacher to ensure a smooth running class
- Supervision of children during their playtimes/lunch breaks
- Enabling learners to access the curriculum
- Support the pastoral needs of the learners
- Be an active part in setting the learning environment
- Supporting learners on a 1:1 basis and part of a small group in a range of activities throughout the day
- Using your interests to engage students in learning
The ideal candidate may possess the following skills and capabilities:
- Be able to support learners with various SEN needs
- Previous Care, education or childcare experience (desirable)
- Personal or professional experience of SEN
- Be confident to support the lead in groups, in different educational subjects
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- GCSE Maths and English at pass grade
