Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Professional Development: Fully Funded Specialist Qualifications
Are you a skilled teacher ready to make a profound, measurable impact? Whether you are an experienced SEND practitioner or a mainstream teacher looking to specialise, this is your chance to build something from the ground up.
We are launching a brand-new, purpose-built secondary provision for students aged 11-16 with Autism (ASC) and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. We are looking for an ambitious educator to join our founding team and spearhead our Nurture provisions.
Why This Role Offers More
Shape the Strategy: You aren't just inheriting a classroom; you are helping to design the environment, culture, and curriculum of a brand-new school.
Accelerated Growth: We fund professional qualifications and offer rapid, clear pathways into middle and senior leadership within a growing education group.
True Multi-Disciplinary Working: Work alongside an in-house therapeutic team, expanding your professional skill set in trauma-informed practice and speech & language strategies.
Your Impact
Pioneer the Nurture Model: Establish a high-functioning, low-arousal classroom environment that bridges the gap between emotional regulation and academic achievement.
Data-Driven Individualisation: Utilise Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) to create bespoke, highly effective learning pathways.
Behaviour Innovation: Move away from traditional behaviour management to lead with non-confrontational, therapeutic de-escalation techniques.
Candidate Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential. Primary-trained teachers with strong literacy/numeracy intervention skills or Mainstream Secondary teachers looking to transition are highly encouraged to apply.
The Mindset: Resilient, analytical, and highly adaptable. You view complex behaviours as communication and possess the emotional intelligence to navigate them.
Knowledge: Prior experience or a deep theoretical understanding of ASC, ADHD, or SEMH is vital.
Package & Perks
Signing Bonus: £5,000 welcome bonus paid to qualified successful applicants.
Lifestyle Benefits: Enhanced pension, life assurance, and immediate access to Wagestream and Perkbox.
Protected Time: Structured school hours with a guaranteed 4:00 PM finish every Friday to safeguard your weekend.
