Are you an experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher looking for a rewarding, long-term agency role starting immediately? A vibrant, dedicated SEN school in Northolt is seeking a highly skilled teacher to join their team for the entire 2026/27 academic year.
The Role
- Lead a Dedicated Classroom: Deliver a tailored, highly sensory curriculum to pupils with complex SEN, including Autism (ASC), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).
- Multi-Agency Collaboration: Work closely with in-house Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and a team of support staff to maintain a safe, nurturing environment.
- Progress Tracking: Plan, differentiate, and assess individualised education plans (IEPs) to ensure every student reaches their full potential.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): PGCE, BEd, or equivalent teaching qualification recognised in the UK.
- Significant SEN Experience: Proven track record of leading SEN classrooms and managing complex behaviours, sensory needs, or non-verbal communication systems (e.g., PECS, Makaton).
- Immediate Availability: Ready to commit to a full-time position starting immediately through to July 2027.
- DBS: An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
