We are currently seeking dedicated and professional 1:1 Teaching Assistants to provide specialist support within local primary school settings. If you possess a compassionate approach and a strong commitment to facilitating student success, we invite you to contribute your expertise to our educational support team.
Responsibilities- Provide tailored, proactive support to students to ensure continuous academic and emotional development.
- Assist with classroom activities, adapting pedagogical approaches to accommodate individual learning styles and requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with teaching staff and support teams to maintain a cohesive environment.
- Build professional, trusting relationships with students to foster a conducive learning atmosphere.
- Support learners with specific needs, including ADHD, Autism (ASD), and the management of challenging behaviour.
- Previous experience supporting children with additional needs, such as ADHD or Autism, within an educational, care, or youth environment is highly advantageous.
- A patient, adaptable, and professional demeanour, with a genuine commitment to primary education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Possession of an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a demonstrated willingness to initiate the application process.
