We are searching for a teaching assistant to join a friendly team of staff at our SEN school based in Godalming.
As a teaching assistant within SEN you will be aiding students on a 1:1 basis or within small groups and supporting their learning, communication - growing skills and creating a safe space for students to grow.
Requirements:
-GCSE Maths and English at grade 4/C or above
- Experience working with non-verbal students and an understanding of the condition as well as Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
- Drivers preferred due to rural campus location
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check on the Update Service - or already have one
- Previous experience of performing personal care for ages 7-19.
