Responsibilities- Provide dedicated, personalised guidance for students with additional learning needs (including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties) to help them access the curriculum.
- Facilitate targeted learning activities for small groups to enhance literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
- Implement positive behaviour strategies in line with individual education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to classroom teachers and the SENCo.
- Modify teaching materials and sensory tools to match the unique learning styles of assigned students.
- Proven experience in an educational, care, or youth coaching setting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with pupils, teachers, and parents.
- Resilience and the ability to thrive in a dynamic classroom environment.
- Valid Enhanced DBS check or the willingness to process one immediately.
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or a relevant degree is preferred.
- Competitive compensation of £90.00 - £105.00 per day with weekly pay.
