Responsibilities- Provide dedicated, personalised guidance for students with additional learning needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties.
- Facilitate targeted learning activities for small groups to improve literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
- Implement behaviour management strategies in alignment with individual education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers and SENCo to monitor progress and provide feedback on student development.
- Adapt teaching materials and sensory tools to suit individual learning styles.
- Proven experience in education, care, or youth coaching settings.
- Strong, professional communication skills.
- Resilience and the ability to adapt to a dynamic classroom environment.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check or willingness to process one immediately.
- Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or degree) or prior exposure to SEN frameworks are considered an asset.
