We are seeking a dedicated and professional 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team. If you possess a compassionate approach and a genuine commitment to educational development, this position offers the opportunity to provide essential support to students with additional needs, including ADHD, Autism (ASD), and challenging behaviour, within local primary schools.
Responsibilities- Provide tailored, proactive support to facilitate student engagement and academic progress.
- Assist with classroom activities, adapting pedagogical approaches to accommodate individual student learning styles.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers and support staff to maintain a cohesive classroom environment.
- Foster positive, trusting relationships with students to support their emotional and social development.
- Previous experience supporting children with ADHD, Autism, or challenging behaviour in an educational, care, or youth setting.
- A professional, adaptable, and patient approach to primary education.
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or signify a willingness to complete the application process.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a school team.
