Team Leader / Senior Autism Practitioner
Location: Lanark & Surrounding South West Area
Salary: £34,939 - £35,505 per annum (Clear progression up to £37,434)
Hours: 37 hours per week (Flexible shift patterns including evenings, weekends & on-call)

Scottish Autism is looking for a Senior Autism Practitioner to step into a pivotal Team Leader role within our South West Service. Based out of Lanark, you will oversee high-quality care for over 48 autistic adults across housing support, residential, and transitional services.

Key Priorities
- Lead & Empower: Direct, coach, and support a team of Autism Practitioners to ensure they deliver outstanding, person-centred care.
- Service Excellence: Oversee outcome-based support plans, maintain regulatory compliance (SSSC and Care Inspectorate), and drive continuous service improvement.
- Collaborate: Build strong, trusted relationships with families, external agencies, and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Operational Leadership: Play an active role in recruitment, team learning, and the regular management on-call rota.
What You Bring
- Social Care Experience: Direct experience supporting autistic individuals alongside proven supervisory/management background in care.
- Coaching Mindset: A strong track record of mentoring team members and helping them grow professionally.
- Qualifications: An existing Health & Social Care qualification OR the drive to complete an SVQ Level 4 & LMC qualification (fully funded by us!).
- Key Requirements: A Full UK Driving Licence, standard IT skills, and SSSC registration (or commitment to register).
