The Opportunity
A leading industry player is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join their IT team. This isn't just a documentation role; the successful candidate will lead complex, cross-functional projects and help shape the future of the company's enterprise technology.
Reporting to the Lead Business Analyst, this person will act as a "Leader of Others," mentoring junior staff and driving high standards across the analytical practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Owning end-to-end requirements for major initiatives and tailoring delivery methods across Agile and Waterfall environments.
- Defining "As-Is" and "To-Be" processes to boost organisational efficiency.
- Working alongside Architects, Developers, and Legal teams to ensure solutions are feasible and compliant.
- Leading workshops and translating complex technical topics for senior heads in HR, Finance, and Procurement.
- Producing high-quality service models, wireframes, and RFI/RFQ packs that stand up to senior-level scrutiny.
The Ideal Candidate
- A proven track record in Requirements Management, Systems Analysis, and Data Analysis.
- Comfortable with data structures and tools like SharePoint or Microsoft Purview.
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- A solid understanding of GDPR or a strong desire to specialise in this area.
- Ideally holds a CIPP/E certificate or is motivated to obtain one with company support.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a Senior BA role
- Construction background is preferred
