Job Title: Senior / Quantity Surveyor (2 Vacancies)
Location: Moorgate, London (1 role will shortly transition to lead a project in Bishop's Stortford)
Contract Type: Freelance / Outside IR35 (Long term)
Day Rate: £350 - £400 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate start ideally

We are working with an established, financially resilient main contractor with an annual turnover approaching £30m and a proven, cash-positive track record spanning 30 years. Led by a senior management team with extensive Tier 1 backgrounds, they bring the knowledge, rigour, and standards of a major contractor to every deliverable. Specialising in main contracting, fit-out, and refurbishment, they pride themselves on quality, collaboration, and commercial transparency.
Due to continued growth and an expanding pipeline, they are looking for two experienced Quantity Surveyors to join their commercial team.
The Roles:
There are two immediate openings based out of the Moorgate office:
- Role 1: Based in Moorgate, taking the commercial lead on a portfolio of smaller works, refurbishments, and fit-out projects.
- Role 2: Initially based in Moorgate, before transitioning to take the commercial lead on an exciting upcoming project in Bishop's Stortford.
Both positions require a confident Quantity Surveyor capable of taking full commercial ownership of smaller works projects, ensuring robust financial control and high-quality outcomes.
Requirements:
- Main Contracting Background: Solid track record working for a main contractor.
- Project Experience: Proven background in fit-out and refurbishment projects.
- Sector Knowledge: Experience across mixed-use commercial and residential developments.
- Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on experience delivering both CAT A and CAT B fit-outs.
- Commercial Leadership: Ability to take full commercial responsibility for smaller works projects from procurement through to final accounts.
- Approach: A proactive, collaborative problem-solver with excellent communication skills.
