What We're Looking For:
A minimum of 3 years' post-qualified experience as a social worker, with significant experience in permanence planning, including Special Guardianship Orders, fostering, and adoption.
Current and valid Social Work England registration.
A strong understanding of relevant legislation, statutory guidance, and best practice concerning permanency for children.
Proven ability to undertake comprehensive assessments for special guardianship, present robust evidence in court, and support families through complex legal processes.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with children, prospective carers, and legal professionals.
A commitment to providing expert guidance and support to less experienced colleagues.
