This nationally recognised specialist school is seeking a SEN TA to join their committed and welcoming team. This school supports 100 pupils with complex needs including Autism, SEMH, ADHD and physical disabilities. At present over 70% of the students at the school have Autism. This school is one of the largest locally and is greatly endorsed in the local community. This is a 'respect' school and prides itself on treating every child as an individual.
The school is looking for a teaching assistant to join their team ASAP or September (notice periods considered) on a full time, permanent basis (40 hours a week). This role is a term time only opportunity.
Post holders will work on a 1:1 basis with students when required as well as support in class or with a small group. The existing team are passionate and dedicated and are invested in offering a safe and supportive environment for the young people. This setting is invested in all their staff members and their training and development and is a fabulous setting to work in.

- Level 2 Diploma in teaching and learning (desirable not essential)
- Relevant support work or teaching assistant experience/ Voluntary or paid experience considered (desirable)
