Position Type: Full-time, 6-Month Contract (with potential for extension)
Hours: Monday - Friday, flexible office hours
Pay Rate: £16.41 - £26.75 per hour (PAYE)
We are seeking five proactive and numerically minded Supply Chain Planners to join a dynamic team supporting a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity to build on your existing supply chain foundation, receive comprehensive systems training, and work with a leading global brand.
The Role & Hybrid Structure
In this role, you will help manage daily supply chain operations to ensure internal and external customer demands are seamlessly met.
To set you up for success, there is a structured 3-week initial training period where you will be required onsite 5 days per week. Following successful training, the position transitions into a balanced hybrid model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote per week).
Key Responsibilities
Production & Material Planning: Support the creation of master production schedules and material plans to meet independent customer demands.
Operational Management: Maintain daily supply chain operations across functional areas including materials, inventory, logistics, and order fulfillment.
Supplier Relations: Manage day-to-day supplier interactions to ensure timely deliveries and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Data Maintenance: Utilize ERP/MRP systems and Excel to ensure accurate data tracking and reporting.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: At least one internship or equivalent professional work experience in a Supply Chain role.
Systems Knowledge: Experience using an ERP or MRP system is required. (SAP experience is a major plus, but not mandatory).
Technical Skills: Good Excel skills and strong numerical capability.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively manage supplier relationships.
Industry Background: Experience in a manufacturing supply chain is a big plus, though automotive experience is not required.
